Camera Obscura: A Triptych (2017, 19 minutes, Color, Super 16mm and Digital Video)
· IMDb ·
A cast of three inhabits three stories: a podcast interview, a one-act play rehearsal, and a couple's night in. As they progress, stories begin to echo each other as new information about the triangle comes to light.
Camera Obscura is a narrative meets structural experimental piece I did as my thesis film at Emerson College. Three stories unfold, one after the other, picking up in the dramatic arc where the other left off. Using the same cast, each story would shed more light on the triangle of characters and reinforce what we know about them from before, despite being different worlds each time.
